NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I STEERING COLUMN - X.8430.

Herewith we send N.Scheme 2168. shewing the proposals for stiffening an existing New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I steering column using the present sheet metal dashboard.

It is intended that this should be done where there is a complaint of a flexible steering column, and therefore it has been designed with a view to being put on outside the Works. Should it do what is expected it will of course be standardised for all cars until the experiments with the cast dash have been decided.
