We have received your report of the
21st inst. (please note it was dated the 20th).

You will have to try and keep the exhaust
manifold whole for the remaining part of the test as we
do not wish to send out another for the short period.
Is the sliding joint free?

I am leaving here Friday morning, calling at
West WitteringHenry Royce's home town and then on to Chateauroux. I should
arrive sometime Sunday. The mileage should be completed
but we want a general examination before leaving.

Hoping all is well.
