It was agreed at a conference on Friday to release 100 sets of material to the Works with certain exceptions, as follows:- Seq. 5000 Crankcase & Bearings. - As for 6 sets but main bearings to have no shims. 5010 Crankshaft. - As for 6 sets, but rear bearings may be altered to E.CD.238. 5020 Spring Drive. - Hold up. 5030 Connecting Rod. - Release for thin shells without shims. 5040 Piston. - O.K. for jigs and tools, but rings and grooves may be altered. 5050 Cylinder. - As for 6 sets. 5060 Valves & Fittings. - As for 6 sets, hold up valve springs. 5070 Inlet Pipes. - Hold up. 5080 Carburetter. - As for 6 sets. 5082 Carb: Air Silencer. - Hold up. 5090 Camshaft. - As for 6 sets, less cam balancer. 5100 Dynamo Drive. - As for 6 sets. 5101.
