Dear Rowbotham, I hope you had a good day in London yesterday & managed to do something about the deplorable conditions you told me about. Your people got the BMW very much better apparently the chief fault was that the ignition was much too far advanced. It ran very nicely when S.S. & I collected it on Saturday morning. He drove it very well & I think thought quite well of it. The weight seemed very good considering the tank was nearly full (thanks) & there were lots of odds & ends of gear in the car.
