PLR BAG To C. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}1/AP.14.5.37 3.AZ.62 - The Hon. Seymour Berry It was agreed at the General Chassis Conference on Monday that owing to the frequent complaints of clutch judder by the owner of this car, we should fit an exact replica of the American Long clutch plate, which has given complete satisfaction in the U.S.A. Trials Car. We have only one of these plates available at the moment, but some are on their way from the States. We understand from Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} that this car will not be available until after the Whitsuntide Holidays. If you could make arrangements for the car to go to Cricklewood, we should like our clutch expert to be present when the new plate is fitted.
