To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} c. to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} 84117 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/WJ.25.11.31. MR. FAIREY'S CAR 34-GN. This car is now in the Repair Dept. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has agreed to ribbed brake drums and stronger valve springs being fitted to this car. We also wish to fit to this car the ball bearing cams for operating the servo. This has been standardised but we should like to get it on Mr. Fairey's car as he is a keen critic on brakes. These parts will be supplied to the Repair Dept by the Expl. Dept. Mr. Fairey has also asked :- (1) that the shock absorber loading be checked as he thinks these have deteriorated. (2) The original bright dashboard lamps to be fitted as he dislikes the green ones. (3) Cylinder head and pistons decarbonised and valves ground in. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
