SUBJECT

25th. March.... 1937

Dear Sirs,

We have received your letter of March 24th. and would ask you to accept our apologies for the incorrect information in our previous communication.

Regarding the switch we would advise you that the 6-volt Heaters are supplied complete with bulbs, but unfortunately a 12-volt bulb of suitable size is not available and it has therefore been found necessary to market the 12-volt switch without this additional refinement. In installing these Heaters we generally advise the switch being connected at the ignition switch so that when the ignition is switched off the Heater motor is automatically put out of operation, whether the Heater switch is on or not. It will be realised, of course, that it is not possible to run the Heater for long periods without the engine of the car running, and when connected in this manner the need for a pilot light is obviated.

We would advise you, however, that investigations are still being pursued in this matter, and if we find it to be possible we will incorporate in next seasons models a switch containing a pilot light.

Yours faithfully,

S. Jackson
SALES DEPARTMENT.
