Please receive herewith blueprints of the following drawings :- RG.{Mr Rowledge}2232 Plate Spring - servo. 1 off per set. RG.{Mr Rowledge}2233 Excluder. 1 " " " RG.{Mr Rowledge}2234 Housing - oil seal. 1 " " " (at Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/MHR{M. H. Rigby}'s request) to enable parts to be made and fitted to the seven rationalised gearboxes now in hand. The scheme is to prevent water reaching the Servo facings and is accomplished by means of the Excluder and an extended corrugation on the Servo spring plate. The alteration to the Oil Seal Housing consists of removing .012" from the flange face. The old parts are replaced by the above as follows :- RG.{Mr Rowledge}2232 replaces GB.5114. RG.{Mr Rowledge}2233 New Piece. RG.{Mr Rowledge}2234 replaces GB.5116. This completes the instructions for the above. Kindly instruct up as required. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. | ||
