GEAR BOX.

(1) the time necessary to make a scaled down design from 4 speed EAC. (2) the additional cost fitted upon the finished car. (3) the additional weight. The WW. committee will advise Mr. Johnson of the time to alter and he will probably be able to decide at once whether to wait or to go on with the designs already sent to Derby. If so Mr. Stent and the committee will just look over to see what is necessary to bring them right up to date. I recommend for cost and simplicity the 3 speed one already drawn, slightly modified to bring up to date.
