R.R. 235 A (150 H) (V.V. 522. 10.2.14) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 0345. .X709 J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} for R.{Sir Henry Royce} 9.3.14. Dal/G9314. A note from Mr. Nadin quotes your memo, as saying that you asked for a set of Houdaille Shock Absorbers to be tried some time ago. We think that this refers to Triou Shock Absorbers which are also similar in principle to our own hydraulic type. A set of these has been fitted to 2300 for some time, and are very effective in stopping bouncing and rebound, making the car much more comfortable. They are fitted in connection with the thick leaved springs of constant thickness. A report will shortly be through. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
