Re Chassis No. GSR-14 - Weymann London Trials Car.
------------------------------------------

Your Pn{Mr Northey}2/WT8.4.32. has been handed to us by Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}
and he has asked us to reply to the queries you raise.

With regard to the shock dampers, the existing
ones can be modified by N. quite easily, as we have
already given N. full information in regard to the
recommended loadings etc., and we believe they have
already carried out similar work on other cars.

We are not sure whether or not a set of low
rating springs is already available at N. for this car,
but if not we can send off a set almost immediately.

With regard to the time required to carry out
the conversio, we would say that the shock damper
alteration will cost approximately 16 Bonus Hours and
the spring changeover about 32 Bonus Hours.
