New Unit in course of erection - engine to be completely assembled less the crankshaft by the end of the month. B.80.Nos.5 & 6 Conventional. The only work proceeding is the pattern making for the Crankcase top half and Cylinder head. All other details are not instructed, prints in office rack. B.60.No.1 Unit. At present in the shop being re-assembled after 50 hours endurance test. FN. was requested to review the position and give a promise of completion at the next meeting. B.60.No.2 Unit. Fitted in 29.G.VI Car to come into the shop on 16.3.39 for the purpose of fitting flexible flywheel, and revised Crankshaft Damper SCD.1043. B.60.No.3.Unit. On the Test Bed. B.60.No.4.Unit. Allocated to 3.B.50 for 15,000 miles trials, HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} stated that this unit was to be urged and passed to test prior to fitting to 3.B.50, the Chassis is to be despatched to France - fore.Easter. B.V.No.1 Unit. Allocated for 14.B.V. Continental Chassis, it was stated that the unit was completed and ready for fitment. continued. | ||
