Dear Mr.Manning,

I believe a Reo car has arrived in England with an automatic gearbox. Could you arrange for me to have a run on one if I come up to London.

Also we have heard that one of the Alvis' has synchromesh on all four speeds, in which case I should very much like to try that also.

I saw my father out in France the other day. It was a very kind offer of your re. his new car, for which many thanks. He hopes to see you at the Paris Show, and is thinking of the D.6.11 Delage, or 14 c.v. "Superfulgar" Talbot. Do you know anything about either of these?

Hoping you can wangle me trips on those two gearboxes,

Yours sincerely,
