25/30. -2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}4/R.11.5.37. Worst Features. With regard to (a) We should take an interest in Mintoes' car - GUL-22 - about which St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} has written to Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} recommending increasing the load on the torque re-action dampers. The suggestion that the throttle pedal can be used to alter the ignition in France to improve slow running should be investigated. RAITH. (1) Are all the latest oil holes to improve lubrication on the Wraith III crankshaft ? (2) Expt. Dept. to issue a report saying whether the Wraith silencer suspension is what we want on the Bentley. BENTLEY. (1) It was decided to fit propeller shaft dampers on all 4 1/4 litre Bentleys (555 Bentleys and 350 25/30 left the Works without a propeller shaft damper). (2) Instructions should be issued to Depots to check over any other points likely to cause clutch judder when fitting propeller shaft dampers.
