Messrs Clayton Dewandre Comp, Ltd,
Titanic Works,
Lincoln.

Dear Sirs,

We are considering the possibility of using your steel wire wound radiator tubes for an oil cooler. We should like to know whether your tubes have been used for this purpose before, and whether you consider that the internal bore of the tube promotes sufficient turbulence to get the heat away to the walls.

If you have sufficient information to merit discussion, the writer would be pleased to run over to your works at a time which could be mutually arranged.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
