Adjustments to vehicle springing for Continental cars compared to English conditions.

Immediately upon receipt of the original memo from Ps., copy of which EO/Thn. has attached to his memo EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn6/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 21.5.30., we wrote and confirmed two points :- (1) We were stringing slightly on the heavier side generally. (2) For Continental cars we had arranged to use springs as suggested by Ps. viz. 50 lbs. stronger than those for English conditions on the front, and 100 lbs. stronger on the rear. BY.{R.W.
