Y7350 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/HP.11.7.34. c. W. Ox. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} [Struck through] Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} [Handwritten] re Dropped Front Crossmember. The dropped front crossmember on the Phantom has been standardised and will be on Olympia cars (S.2. series 29th chassis). A similar scheme has been done for the 25-HP and the Bentley. Since we are showing this on the Phantom we feel sure that it will not be long before it becomes demanded by the customer on the 25-HP. and almost to the same extent on the Bentley, and as it very much enhances the appearance of the car we would like the feature to be standardised on these cars as soon as possible so that its introduction on production can be arranged when convenient.
