With reference to the damage which this car sustained in transit from London, will you please have the necessary repairs proceeded with but arrange for the coachbuilders to render a separate charge for these items in order that we can submit a claim on the carriers. We understand the damage consisted of :- Cracked windscreen Buckled dumb iron shields Damage to doors and tail lamp If it is not possible to obtain a figure from the coachbuilders probably you could suggest a suitable amount which we should claim for this work.
