Your Ref. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/R.{Sir Henry Royce}

W.A.Robotham, Esq.,
Experimental Dept.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Robotham,

Many thanks for your letter of July 28th, and for so kindly taking so much trouble about Mr. Jules Jadot's car.

I am afraid I see no possibility of a visit to Duffield for some time, as nearly all my visits North now are for the day only, but I shall not fail to let you know if I can manage it.

If by any chance you have nothing better to do on either of the week-ends August 20th or August 27th, and would care to come down and spend the week-end with me at our small cottage in Wiltshire, I should be delighted. I am afraid I cannot ask your wife to come too as my wife will be away looking after the children, and it will be a bachelor party. Do come if you can, I should very much like to ask your advice on the garden.

Yours sincerely,

Rothes.
