FITTING. The Heads are adaptable to most existing brackets, but Fork brackets have to be cut off and the stem studded to take our Heads.

It is essential to set the Heads carefully to ensure that, when all nuts are fully tightened, the shaft works quite freely.

LAMP ATTACHMENTS cover four classes of lamps. (1). Angle Socket for lamps with a rear stud. (2). Vertical Socket for vertically studded lamps. (3). Clip Sockets for lamps having stems. (4). Pillars for fork-bracket lamps. The Sockets may be fitted either inside or outside the Heads, to suit the car. A good range of alternative lamp positions and adjustments is provided to cover all normal requirements.

Special fittings for individual cases can be supplied. Any further information required will be gladly given on request.

In use, keep all bearings lubricated and the equipment clean; this is important to ensure efficient working.

Examples.

[The following section is crossed out with diagonal lines]
Print 5660 is an example of an Automatic Dipper set fitted with Short Heads, for socket lamps of the Lucas type.
Print 5661 is a set with Long Heads for fork-bracket lamps, the forks having been cut off the brackets and the stems studded to take our Heads. The Lever is fitted by a separate clip, which should be pinned to the shaft.
The Short and Long Heads are equally applicable to either case, according to the position of the brackets. Other combinations to these two examples are available for special cases.
