We are sending the above car into the fitting shop for thefollowing work to be done :- (1) Engine modifications as per Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}4.3.39. (2) Remove present 9 x 41 rear axle gears and fit standard 8 x 34 gears. (3) Fit cast iron clutch casing as per Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}1/JH. 24.2.39. (4) Examine rear exhaust silencer for rattle inside. (5) Examine clutch operating lever and clutch pedal lever and make sure they are not built up levers, but are to production specification.
