Re Proposal Sheet No.40
Chassis 1101

We are attaching sets of photographs of the test car 102 CX{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} on which the changes proposed for 1101 have been made.

These are sent to supplement the detail photographs sent with the proposal sheet.

As we did not wish to allow a photographer to do this job, and could only take snapshots ourselves, the detail is not good, but we think it will serve to illustrate the general layout.

The radiator used for the photographs was attached temporarily. The radiator used in testing being a round-topped affair to disguise the car.

The large exhaust manifold is shown as compared with the original manifold which was shown on the photographs attached to the proposal sheet.

The pedal levers, also, as can be seen, are hand forgings, and are heavier section than the levers shown on our proposal sheets. In other respects the parts are as covered in our proposal sheet.

We regret that we cannot send more finished pictures of the complete car at the present time, but you will understand that it is necessary to keep the existence of the car as quiet as possible.

Oy.
