to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} X8774 ORIGINAL EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/24.3.27. X8774 RE IO.EX. I tried this car again yesterday and have found it necessay to insist on the scuttle being treated as indicated in the memo herewith. The ironing doe by Barkers was not scientific and would not be permanent. I have also asked them to fit lips on the under side of the front wings as mud ran down to the forward tip and was driven on to the screen. The rear ends of the front wings appear to be quite good in this respect. We expect that the car will be ready in about a weeks time. We regret the delay, but feel justified in working at the car until it is right. We will inform you when you can send for it. | ||
