Order No. WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}51 Customer's No. X8710 Paraffin waxed paper coil P.W.P.4 We have completed road tests with this coil on chassis 12EX after it had completed 8300 miles running on that chassis. The coil was put through our usual test for coils on chassis. At 80°C the coil functioned OK at 8 volts on "pick up," low speeds, and high speeds with only very occasional misfires. After being thoroughly heated at 95°C however the coil misfired consistently; although only occasional, on the "pick up," at 13 volts. Otherwise the coil functioned OK. This performance is approximately the same as we obtain from a Signed (contd) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
