WRAITH BRAKE DRUMS - COSTS.

The cost figures recently circulated by RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} are based on an aluminium material cost of 1/3 per lb.

We understand there is a surplus of 10 cwt. of alum. at £40. per ton per week, and will be for a long time to come.

The saving on one Wraith if this material were used would be about £2.0.0.

Applying this to the cost sheets we get :-

£. s. d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
Wraith with aluminium drums, 9 0 0
including cost of rear shoes.

Wraith with iron drums, 8 5 0
including cost of rear
shoes.
____________
Difference £0 15 0

The same difference can be expected in the case of a Bentley.
