At the same time, we shall ask for one of the units to be arranged with a modified proportioning of the series turns, which should bring the day-running battery charge, nearer to what we require. As a second line of action, we shall continue with our R.R. design of regulator, which we shall report on in due course. Thirdly, we are continuing our search outside for new makes of regulator. As regards the cutout, this will also be taken up with the makers; but we are assuming that, if necessary, we can continue with the R.R. cutout, especially as we hope to cheapen this considerably in the near future.
