X128.7. To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} From Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Bensport Gearbox. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}5/E14.6.32. Copy to Mr. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Referring to E.1/MP.11.6.32 some months ago, when we discussed Bensport and Peregrine we were definitely of the opinion that Peregrine must have right hand change. I have re-discussed the matter with C. and Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from the point of view of the ability to make the gearboxes interchangeable if Peregrine had central change, but despite this advantage we are still definitel of the opinion that it would be wrong to make Peregrine with central change.
