Jenner}1/HP.30.8.34. re Phantom Front Engine Rubbers. We send you herewith:- LeC.4087 showing a modification to the fixing of the front engine rubbers which we should like tried experimentally as soon as possible. We have made the washer on top of the rubber as large as possible in diameter with the object of preventing local collapse. It is thought that as the load comes on more rubber comes in contact with the washer and decreases the shear effect. Drawing also shows the sheet metal cover to keep the rubbers free from oily deposit. Drawing to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Blueprint to RHC.{R. H.
