Standard dampers to LOP.F.84936/7.
No leaks in the pistons.
Valves and Valve-chambers to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1154.
Valve spring F.100914 - 273 rating.

Bore of pump .656" diameter.

Controls.

Governor unit over-riding control connected to the mixture control on the top of the column (temporary scheme by RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer})
Carburetter mixture control operated by starter carb. control (temporary scheme by RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer})

----------------

During practically all this mileage, the over-riding control has been in the maximum position.

The following troubles have appeared:-

(1) After 350 miles the steel insert in the O.S. front damper valve-chamber became loose. The inserts on all the dampers were then brazed into the valve-chambers. No further trouble has developed. On the production scheme the valve seat and the valve chamber are one piece.
