TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to - OJ. " WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} " HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} GOSHAWK 11. EXPERIMENTAL BODY SUSPENSION. X3730 We believe you have been waiting for instructions as to the rear step iron to be used in conjunction with the experimental suspension. We send herewith N.sch. 1762. shewing the step iron in the position in which we think it can go. We propose to cantilever the running-board off it and get the coachbuilders to provide the necessary stiffness to the latter. This drawing merely shews the step iron and the runningboards will be dealt with directly with the coachbuilders. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
