We have pleasure in sending you herewith in reply to your enquiry ref: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst/.6/MA of the 16th.inst. a series of leaflets describing our aircraft radio sets, but we do not enclose a quotation, as there are so many alternative equipments and accessories that we are unable to make up a catalogue of fixed prices. We shall, however, be very glad to quote you for any particular equipment if you will kindly let us have your specific requirements. We should also be happy to furnish you with approximate prices, if these would be of any service. Generally it is advisable to give us an opportunity of considering the requirements of each particular case, because it is often that a standard equipment is not suitable without certain modifications. Furthermore, by reason of our knowledge of the facilities existing on the ground and the accommodation on most types of aeroplanes, we are usually better able to decide a suitable equipment than anybody else. If, by any chance, you are interested in the possible use of an aircraft radio set on a motor vehicle, we should be glad to be advised of the fact, because we have had a great deal of experience in this sort of work and have various designs of apparatus specially produced for the purpose.
