Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden,
For the attention of Mr. Breeden.
Dear Sirs,
Steering Wheels & Bumpers.
During Mr. Spicers visit on Thursday Nov.6th.1941 the design of the steering wheel with the cast iron hub to PL.851, it was decided that the centre should be made in mild steel and machined all over.
We have therefore produced a detail of the wheel with a machined all over centre lightened as shewn in order that two can be made. Attached find print of PL.959 17.000 dia. steering wheel with mild steel hub.
We have also received your memo. HJS/EMA. 12th. Nov. 1941, commenting on the front and rear bumper designs PL.897 Rear Bumper and PL.908 Front Bumper, and will let you have our comments as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
J.Draper,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
