1204 Rme To all departments at Derby: D2/DL2/1 /39. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} writes as follows :-- "Should anyone wish to use the telephone for private purposes, before asking for the number they require, they should inform our operator that it is a private call. The operator will then make arrangements for the user to be charged for the call." and "Please bear in mind that trunk calls between London and Derby should, whenever possible, be confined to the special reservation we have daily from 3 p.m. It is seldom that a trunk call is so urgent that it cannot wait until then."
