X.3014b - RE SILENCING OF E.575 DYNAMO.

Will you kindly let me know by return the exact alteration made to the E.575 dynamos to cause these to be silent. So far as I understand, this consists in moving the control brush back against the direction of rotation to the extent corresponding to one commutator segment. Would you kindly say if this covers the alteration as the issuing of a note to Mr. Royce, which I have already drafted out, will depend upon your answer.
