Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.7/AP.20.4.37 BENTLEY RADIATOR We send you herewith a 58 MM. Mk.VI. matrix unit which we have used for Brooklands Tests. This radiator has had the bottom tank fixed to the matrix by Messrs John Marston & Co., and we want to examine the soundness of the job. Will you please carry out the following:- (1) Remove the bottom tank for examination of the solder joint etc. (2) Refit the bottom tank. (3) Build up the matrix unit with a new sheal as a complete radiator less shutters and calorstat - but with a shutter bearing support plate fitted. (4) Despatch the complete unit to Messrs John Marston Ltd., marked 'For the attention of Mr.Dunn'. Messrs John Marston will fit a set of fixed dummy shutters to this radiator which will then run 15,000 miles on o.B.lV. in France. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
