1166. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}1/BA. February, 2nd. 1940. Messrs. Smiths Jacking Systems Ltd. Jackall Works, Edgware Road, LONDON.N.W.2. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Leeson. We are having trouble with some of the hand operated Hydraulic Jacks fitted to our Experimental cars, and the situation really calls for a conference on the Jacking problem. We should be very pleased if you could call at the Works, or arrange for a representative to do so, to go into the matter with Mr. Grylls and myself. I have already mentioned the position to Mr.Grylls and he tells me that you are trying to arrange filters in the Jacks, also, that you have a larger type in hand for the big cars, no doubt you will be able to tell us more of your progress in this direction. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
