Recommendation to build a new testing rig for clutches with a modification to the stud pitch circle diameter.

We recommend that another rig be made for the use of K.{Mr Kilner} and N. which could be kept at N., and Bentley clutches which require testing owing to slip or fierceness could quickly be taken to N. for testing, the existing rig being retained at Derby.

The new rig would be the same as the present one. except that the pitch circle diameter of the eight holding down studs should be increased by .300, so that the 11" clutch can be put on without removing the clamps.
