Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 11th inst. I thank you for the information re the straight-sided tyres. As regards 895 x 150 that we are making in cord, these will be in this size naturally in the beaded edge. The straight-sided tyres will always be in the denomination of inches in measurement the same as the Americans employ. We feel that although you may eventually come to and only use straight-sided tyres on your new vehicles, there will still be a great number of people who will still be using the beaded edge, and in these circumstances, we wish to get out a tyre that will suit them as well in cord as the straight-sided.
