| COPY OF LETTER RECEIVED FROM:- MESSRS C.A. VANDERVELL & CO, LTD., Ref: AG/MB. ACTON, LONDON. W.3. Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., 24th November, 1921. Nightingale Road, DERBY. Dear Sirs, With further reference to your esteemed enquiry of the 7th inst., reference Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} /NJ71121, we now have pleasure in attaching hereto our quotation for the supply of not less than 250 special type "DB {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} " 5" dynamos and special type "SG {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} " 4 1/2" starters, as delivered against your order No. 5533, and we trust that these prices will meet with your approval and that we shall receive your instructions to proceed with the 250 sets required. We are also enclosing our quotation for three equipments for the "Goshawk 11" engine, as per your enquiry of the 11th inst., reference Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 15/NJ111121, and these units, would, of course, be supplied exactly in accordance with your requirements and as referred to in the letter from our Engineering Department dated the 22nd inst. We do not think there is any further information that we can give you in regard to the details of these sets as you are, of course, already in possession of every particular relating to the units specified, but if there should be any queries in regard thereto we shall only be too pleased to answer any questions or if necessary arrange for one of our representatives to call upon you at any time to suit your convenience.
