-2- bulb lamps, bi-focal, dimmers, or the centre lamp. We would be glad if Derby would set this out. (7) The cigar lighter is connected to the junction box on the back of the dash. This junction box is fed from No.6 fuse in the main junction box. On No.6 fuse also are the instrument board lights and the warning light. Since the cigar lighter takes 15 amps. No.6 fuse is often blown. If it were made sufficiently large to stand the cigar lighter plus all the other instruments on it, it would be no safeguard against all the warning lamp or instrument lights. E agrees that this body light distribution box on the back of the dash might be fed from before No.6 fuse instead of after it. We would be glad if Derby would set this small alteration out. (8) It is suggested that with advantage we might elongate P.2. headlamp bracket bolts on the chassis frame 1/8" at both ends. This is due firstly to the fitting of aprons, secondly the varying thickness of the wings. (9) It was pointed out that the wing stays and headlamps on the present 25 HP. are unsatisfactory, and we are pleased to see that the headlamp standards and heavier wing stays for the 20/25 HP. are well in hand. (10) Concerning P.2. bonnet we are repeatedly having it pointed out to us that the material of the louvred bonnet is much softer than that of the standard bonnet, in fact so soft that one can bend it any by hand, and that the bonnet clips and lock pull holes in it, and the bonnet also bends above the stiffener, thus - The stiffeners would be better if they ran up to the side hinge as indicated dotted. Is it possible for us to have a less ductile aluminium for this bonnet as this is causing serious difficulties at coachbuilders and on finished cars. (11) Regarding P.2. pedal stems it was demonstrated that | ||
