Rolls Royce Limited, DERBY. Dear Sir, With reference to the writer's recent visit to your works, we duly sent you as promised a gallon tin of pure B.P. Castor Oil. We now have pleasure in submitting a table of figures for Motorine R and pure Castor Oil. There is, as you will see, a noticeable difference in viscosity. The setting point on the other hand is similar in both oils. The percentage of pure hydrocarbon which is present in Motorine R has no effect upon the setting point. It reduces the flash point but the reduction is not material in the present case.
