SLEEVELESS TYPE EW6. WATFORD MAGNETO.

Referring to EY2/G8.11.27. we should like to know what the prospects are of receiving these magnetos within the next fortnight. Or at any rate, one further machine which would enable us to expedite the tests as desired.

You will remember we have only two machines on which tests have been made. There was an earlier one with a bronze casting which was a rough knock-up, the number of this machine was 98201. This was sent back; could it be brought up to date and returned.

It would be very satisfactory to us if we could have a machine for our impending 10,000 mile test. Of the two we have at present, one has a noisy contact breaker and on this we propose to do cam tests with the special cams which Mr. North brought; the other one, which was brought back by Mr. North recently, though not noisy, has a poor low speed performance. We hesitate to put either of these on a car for the 10,000 mile test.
