Contd. -2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG16.3.20. From the bumping test results, the rear springs are definitely the weakest unit at the rear end of the car. The total hours run on the back of the car on the bumping test is 52. During that time the only breakages which have occurred have been on the rear springs. We have had one or two slight troubles on the shock absorbers which of course have been got over. Mr. Hall and By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} do not consider that the material or the conditions of the steel shown on the leaves we have broken has been very satisfactory. This is seriously being taken up with the makers. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
