111/4 Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.20.5.38. P.III - OIL COOLERS. Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}31/E18.5.38., two reports have been issued on this subject, the first one was held up because after it was written we had a failure of an 'F' type cooler in service, and this failure was, therefore, investigated forthwith. A copy of each of these reports should have been sent to you with the papers, and it was my mistake that this was not done. Briefly, the Experimental Dept. are now in agreement with Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} that 'C' Series cooler should be changed for 'F' type cooler forthwith until we have proof that the 'F' type cooler is unreliable.
