The standard test of these brushes running in conjunction with Z-control brushes has now been completed. The main brushes ran quietly but the Z control brush made a certain amount of chattering noise. Sparking was quite moderate. The positive brush acquired a fair polish over the leading half of its contact face, but became dull over the trailing half. The negative was fairly well polished but was slightly duller over the trailing half than the leading half. The control brush surface was moderately good. Signed: (cont-d) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
