Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}15/KW.24.6.36.

I have received your letter of the 25th June re expenses.

I sent you 4,000 Francs by Hamilton from the last £100 I changed in Paris. I received 7,628.70 Francs. Out of this I cleared your I.O.U. of 2,000 Francs to Paris Depot, which left me with 5,628.70 Francs, less the 4,000 Francs sent by Hamilton to you, which left me with 1,628.70 Francs. My expenses have been taken out of this which I will send you later.

I made arrangements with M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Odile at the Paris Depot to forward to Chateauroux any sum up to 10,000 Francs for emergency expenses, but he will require three or four days' notice for that sum: you can obtain 2,000 Francs at a day's notice by writing to M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Odile.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock.
