Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Salt.

Further to telephone conversation, I am enclosing herewith one copy of works specification No. 403, which gives all the available information to date.

I cannot, so far, find any matter relating to cost of alternative finishes but if I do, I will send you a copy.

Incidentally, on the thermostat cold starting carburetter, instead of sending needles with various tapers as you request, we are sending two different dias. of suction disc on the needle, as this is the more usual variable on layouts of your type.

The smaller disc. under acceleration, moves upwards into the 'rich' position, more quickly than the larger (less suction on the smaller dia.) It also gives more air in the 'fast idle' mixture.

However, if you have any trouble with the tuning, our Technical Dept. will be able to help you.

Yours sincerely,
p.p. B. Cooper.
Emh.
