Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby...........Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Levallois Sr2/Crn.16.4.35. re: High compression heads - Bentley. I have been successful in getting high compression cylinder heads fitted to cars for Continental use, and now I am anxious to know what it would cost to get the necessary modification parts to be fitted to chassis already in use. I think we can make quite a nice little business out of this. I do not know quite how to go about this enquiry, and am therefore writing direct to you. Trust you will be able to put me on the 'bon chemin'. Hope all is well with you, Sincerely yours, P.S. I am rather anxious to know whether the same oils generally made use of are O.K. for lead bronze bearings ? | ||
