DIRECTORS: A.{Mr Adams} F.{Mr Friese} WILLS (CHAIRMAN) C. STANDEN PAINE J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} W. TURNER R.{Sir Henry Royce} DODD C. HENRY HOOPER P. WILLS, MANAGING DIRECTOR. YOUR REF. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}6/KW. OUR REF. PW/EMH. October 2nd. 1934. BWG{J. C. Bowring} Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your favor of the 1st. instant. There is absolutely no need to use any solution with this gasket to hold the pressures required by the pressure filled joint ring. If you feel that you would like to put some form of solution on the copper, this is a matter entirely in your hands, but please allow the joint rings to be free of solution. The internal pressure in the rings is such that these rings will be capable of holding pressures up to well over 2,000 lbs., which we imagine will be ample for the purpose for which you are proposing to use this gasket. We shall be extremely interested to hear the results of your tests. Yours faithfully, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF WILLS PRESSURE FILLED JOINT RING, Ltd. Percy Wills. MANAGING DIRECTOR | ||
