To Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Sft.{Mr Swift} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}4/KT.19.10.31. V 5992. 20/25 HP. CAR FOR R.{Sir Henry Royce} --------------------- We have a promise from the Works that the dummy chassis for the above car (G.F.T.103) will be handed over to our department on Thursday next - 22nd.Oct. We should therefore be in a position to deliver it to Park Wards on Friday or Saturday. We propose to fit the new petrol tank extending to the rear crossmember before we deliver the chassis. We would point out that this is an entirely new feature which will be noticed by the coachbuilders; owing to the fact that the cowling and rear part of the body cannot be finished off without the tank being in position, we have no alternative but to fit it.
